In 1946, my grandfather first opened the doors to the Shore Club in Hubbards, Nova Scotia. For the past 78 years, my family has operated this landmark dancehall and lobster restaurant, and to say it is a huge part of my life is an understatement. This abstract piece is based on the colours of the building: The white facade with its blue-grey trim, and the iconic red and green neon lights that have glowed above its doors for decades.
Size: ~9"x12"
Materials: Acrylic on poplar slats.
Notes: The frame is included and the painting comes with hardware to securely hang the artwork. The framing hardware is pre-mounted to hang in a portrait orientation, but could be altered to hang in a landscape orientation if desired.
