What are your current rates for custom artwork?
Pricing takes into account the size of the artwork and the level of detail required.
Customs start at:
- $250 for a 9"x13"
- $400 for a 12"x16"
- $600 for a 16"x20"
We will review the approximate costs in our initial phone/video call, and a detailed breakdown of costs, including shipping and GST/HST, will be included in your quote.
What sizes of artwork do you offer?
The short answer is - Any size you want! We handcraft every frame in our woodshop and can customize them to any size.
Whether it's a small artwork as a gift for a loved one, or a large artwork for a focal point in your home, we can create frames in any size.
Will the artwork be too heavy to hang my wall?
We use premium poplar for our frames and wood slats, which isn't light, but we've got you covered. Each artwork comes with the proper hanging hardware to securely display the piece.
Smaller artworks have saw-tooth hangers included, and larger pieces have french cleats attached that are rated for 150lbs. Hanging your custom artwork will not be a problem.
How long will it take to create a custom artwork?
Timing depends on whether we have your frame size already available, or have to custom create the frame.
We try to have some standard sized frames ready and available for custom artworks. These sizes are 9"x13", 12"x16", and 16"x20". For these sizes it takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete.
If we are creating a custom sized frame the process can take 6-10 weeks.
We will discuss the details of what timeline you can expect during our initial phone/video chat.
If you have a specific timeline of when you would like your artwork (for a gift or event, etc.), please let us know and we will do our best to accomodate your timeline.
What types of custom projects do you provide?
We specialize in abstract gradients, semi-abstract silhouettes of landscapes and people, and detailed gradients of landscapes and buildings.
But we are open to considering other ideas if you have something fun in mind!
What comes with each custom artwork?
Each artwork comes framed in a white frame, with the proper hangers to secure the piece safely to your walls.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. After we have provided the quote and you are happy with the proposal, we will ask for a 50% deposit to begin the artwork. The balance of the payment will be due prior to shipping.
Do you provide shipping?
Yes! We ship across Canada and the United States, and can provide quotes for shipping to most other countries.
This is a gift - can you wrap/deliver the artwork for me?
Absolutely! If you are giving the artwork as a gift we can provide custom wrapping and ship directly to the gift recipient.
You can also send us any cards, notes, or other items you would like to have included in the package, and we are happy to include them in the package!
We love helping to create a full gifting experience!
How will I stay updated during the painting process?
We will be in contact regularly at the start of the process until you are completely satisfied with the quote and ready to get started.
If we need to create the frame from scratch, we will be in touch once it is created and ready to paint.
When painting begins, we will send process photos along the way to give you the opportunity to make any changes, and see the status of your artwork.
