The Bay of Fundy is home to the largest tidal variations recorded in the world. Twice a day the water roars in and out of the basin, ranging up to 12 meters.
No, this isn't a science class, but it is a pretty cool thing to witness. And one of my favourite places to see it is on the hike to Cape Split. The spectacular cliff-top views at the end of the trail are worth the 13km journey. But if you're not feeling up to dusting off the hiking boots, you can now enjoy the view from the comfort of your living room!
