The saying may go “Don’t judge a book by its cover”, but with colours this good, I absolutely did. This artwork is inspired by, and named after, Meet Me at the Lake by Carley Fortune. I have been working my way through the books on the 2024 Canada Reads list, and was inspired to create an abstract lake reflection based on this books cover. The piece represents the themes of the book: Longing for what once was, while discovering what it really means to be ‘home’. A delicious mix of love, romance and growth. And a reminder to always say yes to meeting at the lake.

The artwork comes framed in white poplar, and includes hardware for hanging in your home. Shipping is available across Canada.
